How Dark Will Black Friday Get?
Every year the Friday after Thanksgiving becomes more and more hectic. Dubbed Black Friday, the consumer holiday consists of hordes of frantic shoppers attempting to take advantage of the best deals of the year. Even the increase in online shopping hasn't depressed the insanity of the consumer celebration. Fights break out over televisions, there are stabbings, scratching, clawing, hair pulling, biting; humanities' beastial nature is on full display.
People stand in lines for days, camping out on the sidewalks of their favorite stores in hopes of finally snatching the golden calf at the low low price of a miserable experience, but no one has shared concern over what the chaos entails this year.
After months of lockdowns, fear, anxiety, the insanity of the presidential election, looting, riots, fires, shootings, stabbings, and financial decay I worry this Black Friday may be the darkest of all. When the black clad ANTIFA and BLM protestors coincide with THE 24 hour shopping experience and hordes of rabid suburbanites I suspect the carnage may be to the level of The Purge. I am of the opinion that no matter how wonderful the deals appear it is in your best interest to sit steady and await the deals provided via the internet.
Avoid the crazy this Black Friday.; you're worth it.
